Weeks 3 +4 are here! The themes? “Inspiration” and “Help”! Come see what I came up with …

52 Week Challenge

“Inspiration” stumped me at first. I wanted to use a quote that I loved or that truly inspired me but I wasn’t sure what I would do once I found it. I have horrible handwriting so calligraphy was out. I didn’t want to just photograph another poster. And then I remembered, the quote that matters the most to me– that INSPIRES me every day– was sitting on my nightstand. I had written it out in high school when I graduated to place on a memory board when folks came over to celebrate. I still have it with me now–it’s gone to college, home again, and now into my new life. I know it may not be the easiest to read, but the quote is from ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ and this photo will always mean something to me. This small piece of paper has always reminded me to be who I want to be, no matter what – and that it’s never too

Here’s what it says: “For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”

Week 4’s theme was “Help”. This morning, I took advantage of all the bright light coming in our apartment to take some photos for future use. TOC and GC were very interested by the mess Momma made and wanted to come help out (and by help, I mean play). This photo was too cute not to share! Blog Challenge_0111

"How lucky we were to win a session with her in a silent auction. She was so calm and flexible with my family, grandparent, husband, myself, 3 year old and 16 month old. She really captured our family's personality in all her photos. We can't wait to use her again! Thanks Kristina!"

"I really enjoyed working with Kristina throughout this process. Graduating from college is something that only happens once, and I believe that there is no one better that I could have asked to take such personal pictures and capture such personal memories."
